Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Groups

When booking more than 3 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Children and extra bed policy

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. You haven't added any cots. You haven't added any extra beds.

Cleanliness

Multiple guests reported problems: mouldy-smelling bathroom, flooded bathroom due to no screens/poor ventilation, ants in room, unclean lobby and stained/greasy glass or bedsheets — cleanliness is a clear weakness.

Service

Service is frequently praised (friendly, helpful front desk staff, excellent personnel). A small number of negative service incidents were reported (one report of being sent to another hotel and issues with taxi reimbursement, and a comment about some staff not fully friendly), but overall staff performance is a strong positive.

Location

Location is consistently cited as excellent — walkable to major attractions (Notre Dame, Louvre, Latin Quarter), many reviewers highlight convenience and great neighborhood.

Room Quality

Rooms are mixed: some guests loved rooms/balconies, others reported very small rooms, old/scuffed furniture, noisy street-facing rooms, AC issues (blasts onto bed), narrow or flooded showers and lack of hooks — generally acceptable but with notable shortcomings.

Central Location near Notre Dame Cathedral

Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, the Europe Saint Severin-Paris Notre Dame Hotel is a charming retreat just steps away from the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral.
