Hyatt Union Square New York

Mostly described as clean in multiple reviews, though one guest explicitly requested a deep clean and some room furnishings and surfaces were noted as worn.

Staff repeatedly praised (Alejandro and Michelle called out); front desk and engineering showed strong effort to resolve issues and were described as helpful and friendly.

Consistently highlighted as a major positive—very central, convenient to attractions and quieter than Times Square.

Mixed reports: some rooms described as perfect, while suites and rooms show wear (furnishings, curtain motor, glitchy TV/Chromecast) and street-facing rooms can be noisy.

Good offerings (lounge, gym, free flavored water, valet parking) but some negatives: gym smelled of mold for one guest and in-room tech (TV/Chromecast) had reliability issues.

Mixed: some guests felt it was too expensive for the room standard (without breakfast), while loyalty benefits and included breakfast for some improved perceived value.
